From September 19, employers in Construction, Marine Shipyard, and Process (CMP) sectors must provide proof of acceptable accommodation for new non-Malaysian work permit holders before they can enter Singapore. This is in addition to work permit approval.
MOM stated that the documentary proof required should be in the form of tenancy or rental agreements, or contracts with accommodation providers.
